Facebook Scam: Aden Simon money giveaways

Beware of a fake Facebook page for a person who claims to be named Aden Simon. The Aden Simon Facebook page publishes posts that claim Facebook users can win money for liking his posts, sharing his posts, liking his page, and commenting “done” on his posts. However, this is completely false. This is a like-farming scam designed to gather Facebook likes based off of false information. The Aden Simon Facebook page is also linked to advance-pay fraud and other types of scams.

There are many fake Facebook pages and profiles associated with the fake Aden Simon page including Jordan EmbryAubrey Harper, Preston ParkerJonathan Embry, Doran Foster, and much more. These Facebook pages all usually publish and share the same content at the same time, which suggests that these pages are operated by the same person or group of people. Furthermore, according to a reputable Facebook user who actively monitors this page, Aden Simon recently changed his name from Aaron Simon to Aden in order to avoid Google Search results.

Facebook like-farming scams are typically harmless; However, many Facebook users have been reporting that these exact Facebook pages will send them private messages, or even call or text them at home telling them that they won money in order to trick them into paying an advanced fee. The scammers will say that the victim must first send them money (usually around $100 – $5,000 USD) in order to receive what they won. The fake Facebook pages will ask victims of the scam to send them an advanced payment through various services like Western Union. They may even ask victims of the scam for additional personal information.

The Aden Simon like-farming scam is essentially designed to gather more daily views for the potential viral content using unethical and dishonest marketing tactics and techniques. The people who like the fake Facebook page are then targeted by the fake page for a variety of marketing purposes and advance-fee fraud.

In conclusion, if you notice a post by Aden Simon claiming that you can win a certain amount of money, ignore it. Report it to Facebook if you wish! These types of scams do not do anyone any good.
