Email Scam: CVS $25 Cash-Back (Redeem)

A current email scam spams a message that says “CVS $25 Cash-Back (Redeem)” and claims users can redeem a CVS Gift Card by visiting website. The links provided in the email message are used to spread malware or direct users to surveys that are designed to collect manually submitted information.

If you have received this email, delete it. This email is not sent from CVS (CVS e-Coupons) and you can not redeem a $25 Gift Card.

  • If you believe your computer is infected with malware we recommend to download and install reputable Anti-Malware software such as Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. Once installed, update the software, and run a scan for malicious files. *This software is available free or as a full version and can block malicious websites in real-time.
