Description

One of the latest Facebook hoaxes that spreads by Facebook messages tells you to “contact all the contacts in your messenger and tell them not to accept anything from Fabrizio Brambilla” because he is a hacker who can hack your account (or computer). The message claims that “if one of your contacts accepts it, you will also be hacked, so make sure that all your friends know it.”

Fabrizio Brambilla hacker hoax

A message is being copied and pasted across Facebook by users who are frightened that thy will become hacked by a person named Fabrizio Brambilla. However, the warning message is just another hacker hoax and it should not be taken seriously.

The wording of the message is similar to other hacker hoaxes that have been around for many years. From time to time, a prankster will change the name of the hacker and alter details of the hoax.

It should be noted that a hacker cannot gain access to your account (or your computer) if you accept a friend request from them.

Example

Please tell all the contacts in your messenger list not to accept anything from Fabrizio Brambilla. He has a photo with a dog. He is a hacker and has the system connected to your messenger account. If one of your contacts accepts it, you will also be hacked, so make sure that all your friends know it. Thanks. Forwarded as received. Hold your finger down on the message. At the bottom in the middle it will say forward. Hit that then click on the names of those in your list and it will send to them.

Solution

Any message that claims a hacker can access your Facebook account or computer if you accept their friend request should be regarded as a hoax. It’s simply not true; it’s utter nonsense. If you receive a message like this DO NOT SHARE IT. If your friend sent you a message like this, make sure to tell them that it is not true.

Hoaxes like this can actually be harmful for people who share the same name as the alleged hacker. It  can damage their reputation and bring them more attention than they want.

LOL. I like the way that you think girl! Come to think of it, my wife used to be a stranger, even though we were from the same village and even though I knew about her existence before I met her. But, before I met her, she was a stranger just like all of the other strangers, especially in a crowd.

    • Of course not, just send another message whilst forwarding this alert from phishlist.com and say sorry, you were tricked. Your friends will be reassured that this imaginary fabrizio brambilla cannot do anything, don’t worry!

So I sent him a wire for $10,000 because he needed it to save his life but he said he’d pay me back. That should be ok, right?
