Facebook Scam: Adult Harper giveaways

Adult Harper is the name of a fake public figure on Facebook. The Adult Harper Facebook page is primarily used to perform like-farming scams and advance fee fraud. The Adult Harper Facebook page typically publishes bogus posts that claim Facebook users can win money for liking his posts, sharing his posts, liking his page, and commenting “done” (or something similar) on his posts. However, no one will ever win anything. It’s completely false. The Adult Harper Facebook page is designed to gather Facebook likes based off of false information in order to target users for future advance-pay fraud and other types of scams.

The Adult Harper Facebook page promotes fake money and car giveaways. The Facebook page will publish posts that claim users can win these items if they like the page, share the post, and comment “done.” Once the scammer behind the Adult Harper Facebook page finds a target he will send them a Facebook message, email them, text them, or call them at home fraudulently stating that they have won, but first must send an advance payment to acquire the winnings.

Adult Harper

There are many fake Facebook pages and profiles associated with the fake Adult Harper page including Adult Harperr (with two Rs), Gage ButlerAden SimonJordan EmbryAubrey Harper, Preston ParkerJonathan Embry, Doran Foster, and much more. These Facebook pages all usually publish and share the same content at the same time, which suggests that these pages are operated by the same person or group of people. The Facebook pages also use stock photos, photos taken from the internet, videos taken from the internet, and more.

Facebook like-farming scams are typically harmless; However, many Facebook users have been reporting that these exact Facebook pages will send them private messages, or even call or text them at home telling them that they won money in order to trick them into paying an advanced fee. The scammers will say that the victim must first send them money (usually around $100 – $10,000 USD) in order to receive what they won. The fake Facebook pages will ask victims of the scam to send them an advanced payment through various services like Western Union. They may even ask victims of the scam for additional personal information.

The Adult Harper like-farming scam is essentially designed to gather more daily views for the potential viral content and Facebook page likes using unethical and dishonest marketing tactics and techniques. The people who like the fake Facebook page are then targeted by the fake page for a variety of marketing purposes and advance-fee fraud.

In conclusion, if you notice a post by Adult Harper claiming that you can win a certain amount of money, ignore it. Report it to Facebook if you wish! These types of scams do not do anyone any good.
